Over the years, I have always believed that capital is the
main thing needed to start a business. But now I know you can start a business
with nothing, all you need is your time and knowledge. What can you trade your
time for? What can you trade the knowledge you have for? Time and knowledge are
very important in starting a business. My friend that owns Discern Consult has
a dream to become a global name in graphics designing and film making, but
instead of waiting for the “big capital”, he looked inside himself and see what
he has, until you get in contact with the silent part of you, you may never
know what you have. He noticed that he is a knowledgeable person, and he asked
himself, “what biz can I do that I won’t need a single capital”, the he noticed
young children around him couldn’t communicate well in English, immediately he
started a community lesson and networking private teachers which has grown to
Discern Consult now. Now he can take care of his immediate needs. Every day he
is working towards his dream. Look your money is around you, find it.
If you wait for all things to fall in place, nothing will
ever fall in place. Look around there is something you can do that you won’t
need a “big capital “to start. The best
time to start anything was yesterday, so today you are already behind schedule.
(Bishop Abioye). The reason you are still broke is because you are waiting for
the right time and waiting for the “big capital”. Take the first step and you
will find yourself taking the next. Don’t wait for the capital; you are the
only capital you need, spend yourself. Create the life you want to leave and
moving towards it.
