Life has
different drives, our purpose of living is different but one thing is certain,
whatever you have chosen to be, do not just grace your profession by doing it,
but think of making your own impact. What will people say about you when you
are not there, when your name is mentioned, what comes to people’s mind, how
many people’s life have you touched with whatever you are doing? Make a
difference in your own world, we are waiting for you. We need you to make a
difference. Don’t follow the status quo “this is how things are done”, someone
invented that way, we want to see you make the difference.
Let us look
at the word IMPACT together. (Thanks to Rev Gbenga Kotila).
I – INVEST –
Pay the price to be valuable in your
field. How much are you willing to invest in yourself? Do you need to get more training;
do you need to seek for more help? Whatever you need to do to be the best in your
field invest in yourself.
M – MINISTRY
– There is something you are called to do for others.To be enlarged in life is directly
proportional to the lives you have touched. How many life have you touched? How
many people have been saved to Christ through you? How many people have you
helped? How many people can you sacrifice your food for so that they can eat?
How many people have you paid their school fees since you are able.
You are very poor if you only live
for yourself. @AyoAkinbode
P – POSSIBILITY MENTALITY
– If you believe, all things are possible to him that believes. What do you
dwell your thoughts on, possibility or impossibility? Do you see a way where
people don’t? Can you stand people’s discouragement when they tell you here is
now way in what you are doing and you tell them wait and see? Do you see a stepping
stone while others see stumbling stone? Are you ready to stand up again after
your previous mistakes?

A – ASPIRE - You must have a dream or a goal you want to
achieve. Where are you going? What do you want in life? Write down your
destination. “If you do not know where
you are going you will be pushed anywhere” @AyoAkinbode. “If you do not know where you are going,
anywhere will look like it” Bishop Oyedepo. What are your aspirations? What
are your dreams? Sit on that.
T – TALENT – Don’t neglect
your talent, discover it, develop it and deploy it. Talent is equal to money if
well developed and used.
If you apply all these then
you are on the path of living a life of impact.
